These companies will take the FiTS payment, which is the thing that makes all this worthwhile. It's great for the company, they enjoy a guaranteed income for the next 25 years, but it's terrible for the customer.

These companies are cashing in by taking your money away from you.

The Feed in Tariff is sufficiently generous that if you don't have the money needed to install the panels it is still worth doing by borrowing the money or increasing your mortgage.
